Release Time
Feed Your Soul is proud to partner with local high schools and churches to support Release Time—a unique opportunity for students to step away from the classroom, share a meal, and grow in their faith.

Under Wisconsin State Statute 118.155, every public high school student has the legal right to be released for up to 90 minutes each week for religious instruction. Release Time makes the most of that opportunity by creating a welcoming, non-denominational environment where students can connect, recharge, and explore the Bible together.
How It Works
Release Time takes place twice a month, during the school day. Students are released during their lunch period and the preceding or following hour.

Each session includes:
-
A homemade meal provided by Feed Your Soul
-
Games and prizes to build community and joy
-
Biblical lessons and discussions led by local youth pastors
-
Free Bibles and faith-based materials
-
Fellowship with friends who share their faith

For many students, Release Time is more than just a break in the school day—it’s a lifeline. It’s a chance to connect with caring adults, build friendships rooted in faith, and hear messages of hope and purpose in a safe, supportive environment.

Feed Your Soul believes in nourishing the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Through Release Time, we’re helping young people grow in their faith while ensuring they leave full in every sense of the word.
